Dear Tallahassee Ford Family,
We are all facing some unsettling times currently but are committed to keeping our community here at The Dealership both informed and safe. It is important that we do not panic, but that we stay informed and diligent in doing our part to the prevention of spreading the virus. We want you to know we are continuing to monitor the situation concerning the Coronavirus through two resources, the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO). These two organizations are the most reliable, knowledgeable, and current with information.

Here’s what we’re doing to promote a safer working environment:

    1. Large dispensers of hand sanitizer will be provided in high-traffic areas for you and our guests.
    2. We have enhanced cleaning methods and frequency, targeting touch points from door handles to meeting spaces.
    3. Public advisory posters from the CDC, displayed around the Dealership
    4. Limiting travel and avoiding travel to high-risk areas.
    5. We have ordered non-touch forehead thermometers for each department. Once they arrive we will ask each employee to be scanned prior to reporting for work.

Additional things that you can do:

    1. Wash hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds. Sanitize between washings. Cover all hand surfaces. Rub till dry.
    2. Avoid touching the eyes, nose, and mouth.
    3. Cover coughs and sneezes. Use the inside of your elbow or a tissue. When using a tissue, dispose of the tissue immediately after its use and wash your hands.
    4. If you have symptoms, stay home and notify your doctor.
    5. Avoid close contact with people who are sick and institute social distancing (6 feet) whenever possible while interacting with customers and each other.
    6. As difficult as it may be, we are asking you to avoid shaking hands with customers or fellow employees. Instead of initiating handshakes, consider alternatives.
We are hoping to be able to serve our customers during these trying times, but we will only do so if we can provide a safe environment for our employees and our customers. It is therefore imperative to join us in practicing these preventive measures. As a caring community, acting in concert, we can all do our part to impede the spread of this virus.

Our Leadership Team will closely monitor developments, watching for additional actions as needed. We’ll keep you updated.

Thank you for your cooperation, and God Bless,

Mr. “H”
